Windows development builds, now available-ish

Are you a windows user? Do you want to get some hands-on time with the new features that scroll by on the blog? Is setting up git and a compiling environment too much work or too complicated for you?

If your answer to all of the above is yes, then I have good news for you. I’ve started posting pre-compiled binaries on the forums, along with instructions on how to get them to work. These binaries are a snapshot of the current state of development, meant for those interested in keeping track of the game’s progress. A little disclaimer though, the game is NOT necessarily supposed to be in a playable state during development, so keep that in mind. But if you do find a bug or another kind of problem, don’t hesitate to let us know.

So, head over to the forum and grab yourself the dev build.

Thanks! It’s hard to watch these posts scroll by without being able to have a look … 😉

Perhaps someone could make a ppa repo for the ubuntu users? That would let someone install the dev package for naev and get automatic updates. Since the build service is automated, after the initial setup, it wouldn’t cause too much headache.
